Rockford Road Quality

The recent removal of the bridge in Rockford has cause massive damage on roads within the community.  The city has been attempting to temporarily repair the potholes in the roads within city limits.  The tar and gravel combination that the city uses to repair their roads causes problems with warm weather coating cars in tar and gravel that is extremely difficult to remove from paint, windows, or rims.  Streets within Rockford are rapidly deteriorating to the point that it feels like you're constantly driving on rumble strips. When asked how she felt about road quality in Rockford, Kelly Hain replied "the roads were bad before, and with the bridge being removed, it is causing more rapid deterioration of the already crumbling roads."
