After Prom Attendance

The weekend of prom should be a three day weekend. Prom and After prom tire some people out, attendance the monday after is iffy at best for most people. This year at least ten people, who wish to have their names remain unknown, did not come to school on monday. When asked they said they were too tired. Others that did show up said that they "were like zombies'. The lights were on, but nobody was home. So some parents said don't have after prom so late. But why punish those of us who actually came to school? We have so many three day weekends anyway, why not move one to prom weekend instead. I know that if we do, attendance will be much higher.
