Since the author is unknown, I have a feeling that a woman wrote this quote because as I'm growing up and learning about relationships with many different people, a lot of girl have said this, just in a different way. Men give up. This quote reminded me of relationships. It's hard when people need breaks in a relationship because you don't want to wait around not knowing what the outcome is going to be and maybe you just waited around for nothing, but also if they mean that much to you, it's worth the wait.
"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. I means you decided to look beyond the imperfections." -- Unknown. I liked this quote because it's very true. Everything is not perfect in anybody's lives, but if you look past all the bad things in life, you can see the beauty in everything and think that your life is perfect for you and the situations that you have to face and get through.
"If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything." --Mark Twain. The author of this quote was a very friendly, funny guy and for him to say a quote like this is kind of surprising to me. This quote meant a lot to me when I read it because honestly, how many people are truly honest all the time? Not to others, but even to yourself. Everyone tells themselves little white lies to make them feel better on the inside, once you start to tell a lie to yourself over and over, you begin to think it's true.
"A friend is someone who know all about you and still loves you."--Elbert Hubbard. Elbert was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher. He was known for his great writings. I like this quote because as you grow up you really realize whose your real friend and whose not. If you have a friend that has been there through everything and never backed out, they are a true friend. Everyone just likes to know the good details about you, or they like to know the bad things to go and tell everybody else, not good friends. The ones that you can tell your deepest secret even if it's really ugly, and they're still there for you, that's the meaning of a true friend. Everyone has at least one, or is one.
