Americans' Three Favorite Sins

As of Friday, February 8th, of 2013, Americans deal with a lot of stress in life. The article tells people what the three most tempting sins are in our day-to-day lives. Americans in different parts of the country will most likely deal with different forms of these temptations, but they will be the same in most ways. Also, men and women deal with different kinds of temptation. The three top temptations are procrastination, overeating, and spending too much time on the media. Media has become a huge part of Americans' lives because of the technology industry boom, with television, radio, newspapers, and anywhere from the elderly to even students being online most of the time. Young people, people born between 1984 to 2002, said that their top two sins were worrying to much and procrastination. Temptation affects women and men in different ways such as, women are more likely to say that their top temptations are overeating and gossiping, and only 8% of women are attracted to online pornography sites, versus 28% of men. I think that Americans do place too much emphasis on the media because of watching television and being online too much of the time. However, I do not agree that procrastination is a top sin, I do not face it at all, I usually like to get my work done and out of the way versus letting it sit there while it is still in the back of my mind, it is stressful. I do agree that worrying too much is on my top list, though. I worry about a lot of things, such as, where I am going to college and what for, and if I am going to be happy doing that.
