Website review

Wal-Mart

Right away when you get on to the website they show you large colorful pictures of products that they have for sale and other items that match with the seasons. They clearly show different departments of the store and everything that that certain department entails. Also they have a search bar on the top so that you can find exactly what you are looking for, and above that they have values of the day, local ads, a store finder, registries for babies, weddings, and a wish list, and they also have different gift cards that you can order. They also have a sign in so that customers can buy things on-line and see what they have purchased.

The main focus of the sight is to show on-line customers what they have for sale and advertise it so that it is appealing to the customer. They also have printable local ads and flyers so that the in store buyer can see all of the great sales that Wal-Mart has going on at the time.

The site matches the content very well, the site is just advertising and allowing for you to purchase things on-line or go into the store in your area and purchase the item that you are looking for. So in this aspect the site is doing very well at what it was intended to do, which is to advertise item that the stores sell.

There really isn't really a writing style to the website it's more of just an advertising, but the layout for the website is great and it really shows people what the store has to offer to the consumer.

The grammar in the descriptions for the product are very well, and for the most part everything is well written and easy to read.

The site is very effective for its purpose in its message which we have already discussed multiple times which is advertising.

The audience for this website is mainly people who are able to purchase items on the website and in the store. Many children also get on this website so that they can tell their parents what they want for christmas, their birthday, or just whatever they want to

Many children also get on this website so that they can tell their parents what they want for christmas, their birthday, or just whatever they want to have. There are many different audiences ranging from, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens. Children tend to look at toys and books and different things of that nature that they are interested in and that is fun for them to play with. Teens may look for electronic devices such as, tvs, gaming systems, phones, mp3s, and apple accessories, they also may be looking for gifts for a boyfriend/girlfriend, or some new clothing that is offered by the store. Adults are often looking for gifts for family, clothing, cookware, and other needs or wants that they have during the day. Senior citizens often look for gifts for their children and their grandchildren, and also anniversary gifts for their spouse, along with groceries and other needs that they acquire.

The author to the website is the Wal-Mart corporation and the workers that they hired to create and update their website.
